Held in the heart of Milan Design Week, Euroluce proved to be a hugely exciting and successful show for Astro, with over a thousand visiting the Astro stand, picking up a copy of the brand new 2017 catalogue and enjoying drinks and canapés at a special drinks reception held on the Thursday evening.
The stand design this year remained true to the Astro brand and showcased lights from across the entire product portfolio of interior, exterior and bathroom. A number of exciting new products were launched at the show, including the Kiwi family, Altea family and Coastal collection.
The star of the show, however, was the Edge Reader, thanks to its innovative combination of ambient and directional illumination, as well as the recent win of the Red Dot 2017 Product Design award.
Just outside of Euroluce in the Brera Design District, Astro was part of the 'Urban House' installation by Porcelaingres; a unique virtual reality experience. Through wearing a virtual reality headset, visitors had the chance to see Astro lights in 360° within a contemporary residential environment.
